We, the undersigned, write on behalf of the people who are being punished in your countries simply for expressing their beliefs regarding religion and other aspects of culture. We implore you to respect the right to freedom of expression, which is protected by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, and immediately grant their freedom.
