In few weeks the Tennis Circuits will restart. Obviously due to the pandemic, dozens of tournaments were cancelled and the calendar seems to be very limited.

It means that even if we are all playing and earning points to move into the same ranking, only a small % of players will have the chance to play and this means that the principle of equality will not be respected. In addition in many countries the situation is far from being solved and traveling is a real issue for players.

The fact that it will be very hard, if not impossible, for all the tournament organizations to ensure the respect of the rules of social distancing and hygiene it's clear and this would make the few players who will be allowed to participate at the events, coaches and workers in serious danger. Only a Grand Slam or a ATP Master 1000 or a WTA Mandatory can have the possibility to run an event completely under control and this means that really a small amount of players would be able to compete (if not stuck in a country with closed borders).

It's clear that the Tennis Governing bodies have the interest of come back in playing (and be showed on TV) but for sure there's no reason and no logic to run a competitive circuit all over the world right now putting in serious trouble hundreds of players and still not giving the chance to the majority of the others to participate. 

Our opinion is that if Tennis have somehow to restart, it should do it only respecting the health measures needed to guarantee everyone's safety and that means that only few events should be putted in the calendar and there wouldn't be any reason to restart to run the World Tours system and the rankings until all the players all over the world will have the same possibilities to travel and play safely. If not, BETTER TO NOT PLAY AT ALL.
