We, the students of West Bengal, are deeply concerned and distressed by the ongoing delay in the WBCAP 2025 admission process. The admission cycle has been halted without any clear communication from the concerned authorities, leaving thousands of students in a state of confusion, stress, and academic uncertainty.

Many of us have planned our careers, future studies, and even financial arrangements around a timely admission process. Now, with no clarity or timeline provided, we are stuck — unable to move forward with our lives.

While we understand that a legal matter is pending in the Calcutta High Court, the complete lack of updates or alternate plans from WBCAP officials and the West Bengal Department of Higher Education is unacceptable. Students are suffering daily — mentally, emotionally, and academically

We are not asking for special treatment — we are asking for transparency, communication, and a student-first approach. We request:

An official public update regarding the status of WBCAP 2025.

A tentative timeline or roadmap for the admission process.

A dedicated helpdesk or point of contact for student queries.

This petition is a collective voice of students who want to study, succeed, and move forward without fear or confusion. We urge the West Bengal Higher Education Council, the WBCAP authorities, and the Education Ministry to act immediately.
