RESOLUTION by the PEOPLE of the UNITED STATES REGARDING ISRAEL’S GENOCIDE IN GAZA

The Issue

Please sign your name to and share this Resolution to be delivered to Congress:

Whereas it has been clearly documented by Amnesty International, and the Human Rights Watch that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, and

Whereas the International Criminal Court has issued arrest warrants for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and former Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, and

Whereas the International Court of Justice has determined that Israel is in breach of its obligations under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Genocide Convention)  in the following manners:

  • The intentional bombing of civilian targets including the destruction of schools, colleges, and universities, and
  • The intentional bombing of civilian targets including the destruction of hospitals, medical care offices and facilities, and
  • The intentional targeting of and destruction of agricultural land, and
  • The intentional targeting of and destruction of cultural and religious sites, and
  • The intentional bombing of civilian targets including the destruction of water supplies, sanitary systems, food production facilities and supplies, electric systems, fuel reserves; all infrastructure critical to survival, and
  • The intentional bombing of civilian targets including the destruction of civilian refugee camps and shelters, and
  • The denial of humanitarian aid, including the intentional murder of humanitarian aid workers and intentional disruption of suppliers and/or intentional closure of humanitarian supply lines, and
  • The intentional targeting and murder of civilian men, women, and children by both ground troops and sniper fire, and
  • The intentional use of starvation as a weapon.

Be It Resolved that we, the people of the United States of America demand that the United States federal government shall immediately  assist in facilitating and maintaining a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and West Bank of Palestine.

Be It Resolved that we, the people of the United States of America demand that the United States federal government shall immediately implement and maintain an Arms Embargo, that prevents the funding of and the trade of military equipment and weapons to or from the Country State of Israel.

Be It Resolved that we, the people of the United States of America demand that the United States federal government shall immediately implement humanitarian, life-saving aid to the people of the Gaza Strip, Palestine.
