RE: RESIGNATION OR REMOVAL OF BR. (NAME OMITTED BY CHANGE.ORG) FROM THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS FOR (NAME OF ORGANIZATION OMITTED BY CHANGE.ORG)

Asalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh!

Dear Board of Trustees,

We, the undersigned community members, kindly request Br. (name omitted by change.org) resignation from the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors for (name of organization omitted by change.org) which manages the (name of organization omitted by change.org).

While we recognize the immense sacrifice and efforts made by Br. (name omitted by change.org) during the establishment of the (name of organization omitted by change.org), we believe his presence on these Boards and involvement in the running of the (name of organization omitted by change.org) has caused and will continue to cause more harm than good.  We have lost trust in the Organization, and we firmly believe that only way that our community can move forward and begin to heal is if (name omitted by change.org) relieved of positions. 

If a voluntarily resignation is not provided by Br. (name omitted by change.org) within two weeks of this petition (Monday, January 17, 2022), then we implore the remaining Board of Trustees, to honor their fiduciary duty to this Organization and to uphold the amanah bestowed upon you as custodians of this House of Allah to take the necessary step of removing (name omitted by change.org) from the Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors from (name of organization omitted by change.org).

This will serve as the first step in rebuilding the and bringing peace and trust back to our community inshaAllah.
