Thank you for all of the support through signatures, sharing, promoting, and speaking up for our school district. Clearly many people are concerned about public education for the children of this community.

We need to ask for your continued support now that we have the Board’s attention.  Dr. Garcia reports to the Board and it is ultimately up to them to ensure our students have a high functioning school with competent leadership. We should hold them accountable for a more thoughtful response than the one they sent our school community dismissing the concerns nearly 250 people have shared support for in under a week. 

Since the petition is on the agenda as correspondence for this Thursday’s meeting, the Board can respond to public comments from the community. Please be sure to log on this Thursday, April 14 at 6:00 pm to the zoom meeting using the following link  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83438240116  or the Meeting ID: 834 3824 0116. They may still be in closed session, they will open up the session when they are done between 6:00-6:30, please be patient and stay. 

Being firm in holding the Board accountable to respond to our concerns in a constructive way should be well received, but personal attacks or holding onto what has happened in the past with Willow Creek will likely just shut them down. Let’s keep it forward-looking and constructive and use our collective voice to build momentum for positive change.
