LJM developers are proposing a seasonal cottage community at 96  Pyle at Northshore and Villella. Their proposal has approx  125 units of modular homes with 2-3 bedrooms. LJM has been working on this proposal since 2019, waiting on Halidimand to finish their growth plans and are now ready to submit to council in Feb or March of 2023.

As shown at the open house, residents in the immediate and surrounding areas have concerns and objects to the development. Some of these include traffic, lack of erosion control, density that will double the population of Lowbanks in the seasonal months, septic systems, impact on the agricultural areas nearby,  the wells and springs on the land and the at risk species who make that area their home. 

While the developer and their consultants have quoted many studies and approvals we want to make sure that residents have a say through this petition, to show council that this is NOT what we want for our community.
