We, the concerned citizens of Westmoreland County, Va, prompt our local Board of Supervisors to vote to uphold our 2nd Amendment rights and to make Westmoreland County a sanctuary county for the 2nd Amendment. We, as advocates for gun rights, do not agree with the proposed gun control laws and believe it is our right as Americans to own and bear arms of our choosing, not the government's. We strongly encourage you, if you believe in your rights as an American, to sign this petition and stand up to tyranny. Most of us are hard working, law-abiding citizens and have grown up hunting and shooting, but it is more than a hobby it is a way of life - it is a means for self-defense against an oppressive and tyrannical government, a bulwark against hypocritical bureaucrats who are protected by the tax dollars we provide. These laws want to strip us of our God given rights and make lawful citizens criminals in the process. We would like to thank you for your time and support.
