Whereas Jennifer Teising is currently the Wabash Township (Tippecanoe County, IN) Trustee; 

Whereas there are credible reports that Trustee Teising has lived outside of Wabash Township in Anderson Indiana and in Florida, in likely violation of IC 36-6-4-2 which states: "The township trustee must reside within the township as provided in Article 6, Section 6 of the Constitution of the State of Indiana. The trustee forfeits office if the trustee ceases to be a resident of the township.";

Whereas Trustee Teising did not have a designate trustee acting on her behalf during her absences from the Township, in likely violation of IC 36-6-4-18;

Whereas the Wabash Township Board has asked for Trustee Teising's resignation in December 2020 and voted "No Confidence" in Trustee Teising unanimously;

Whereas Trustee Teising's firing of Wabash Township Fire Chief, Ed Ward, appears to have been in violation of the rights afforded to him in IC 36-8-3-4;

Whereas the Wabash Township Firefighters Association has voted "No Confidence" in Trustee Teising unanimously;

We, the supporters of this petition and who are also residents of Wabash Township, hereby call on Wabash Township Trustee Jennifer Teising to resign immediately.
