It has been brought to our attention that there is a marijuana dispensary or a cannabis retail store at the former Y-Stop location across the highway from the Roberts School.  The address for this facility is 4 1/2 Cooney Road, Roberts, MT.  Current Montana law states: Zoning requirements: Proposed registered premises or testing laboratories cannot be within 500 feet of and on the same street address as a building used exclusively as a church, synagogue, or another place of worship or as a school or postsecondary school other than a commercially operated school. 

We, as a community, are concerned as the dispensary was able to be licensed even though they are less than 500 feet away from a K-12 school just because they do not share the same street address.  In spite of different street addresses, the school property and the dispensary property are only separated by Highway 212, therefore they are bordering properties.

The undersigned are in opposition to the licensing and operation of this dispensary.
