Every night we drive around aimlessly looking for a parking spot because half the city streets are filled with nonresident parking. Therefore we end up parking 6 blocks away on a different street everytime. Forget to look at the street cleaning sign and your next day is filled with running around, chasing down a company to pay them $140.00 because you forgot to look up. Do we feel street cleaning is important, absolutely. A ticket is justified, we are fine with the city penalizing for parking in these spots, but the towing has become out of control. If someone should be towed it is the nonresident cars taking up all the spaces that we could have parked in so non of this would ever happen.
