Remembrance Day needs to be a stat holiday in Ontario

The Issue

Canadian Unity

Sadly, in 2019 Canada is arguable more divided than ever before. We need to start focusing more on what unites us as Canadians.

Ontario needs to join the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba, B.C, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, PEI, and the Territories of the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut in recognizing the 11th of November as a Statutory holiday.

In light of current events and the division between how we choose to show our love and support to our Veterans, honoring November 11th as a sacred day will be a huge step forward in awareness of the importance of the day to all residents of Ontario.
