Investigation By the Integrity Commissioner

The Issue

Although there have been many other instances to raise suspicion, the Ford Government recently  fast tracked Bill 218. This Bill protects the Province & long term care corporations from civil liability due to their actions, or lack thereof, during the COVID-19 pandemic. The fact that this Bill is retroactive in nature is highly unethical.

An amendment to exclude the Province & the LTC corporations from this legislation was put forth, and immediately voted down.

This proposal, fast-tracking, and subsequent passage of this Bill raises serious concerns of collusion, if not corruption. The residents, and the families of Long Term Care would like your help in requesting an investigation by the Office of the Integrity Commissioner. This investigation will either implicate, or exonerate the Premier.
