The owners of Corona Regional Medical Center and Temecula Valley Hospital are considering handing over control of key hospital services, including their hospital wards, emergency departments, and anesthesia departments to a large corporation that is more interested in their profits than your health. And the time to stop them is now. 

Please sign this petition to tell them no. Tell them you must have quality healthcare, especially in emergency situations.

The executives are considering hiring Envision Healthcare, a national company owned by private equity investors with a history of poor patient care. If Envision is allowed to take over, the care you receive at Corona and Temecula will suffer. You can take action by signing this petition now.

Corona, Temecula, and all residents of Riverside County deserve better than a company that is willing to trade your health for a few extra dollars. That is exactly what you will be getting if Envision is allowed to replace the caring, loyal, and talented health care professionals currently working at Corona and Temecula.  

Envision already has a terrible history in our community:

1. In 2015, Corona brought in Envision to run its emergency room but fired them just three years later when quality care and patient safety went downhill.
2. Envision also has provided other services at Corona twice in the last 10 years but was fired both times due to poor quality of care.

Why go back to Envision again? Because to the hospitals’ owners, profitability is more important than your health. And that’s simply not something our community can accept.

On the other hand, over the last four years, the local health care providers at Corona and Temecula have made major contributions and improvements to the quality of patient care, brought in first-rate doctors and leaders, and used powerful technology to improve patient care. And this publicly traded company wants to sacrifice your care to save what amounts to a few pennies on the dollar.  

If this doesn’t upset you enough, you should know that many experts believe Envision is on the brink of bankruptcy, and if that occurs, there may not be health care providers to care for you when you need them most.  On top of that, Envision is currently being sued in Tennessee for not paying health care workers fair wages; and in Texas for overbilling their patients. Envision is also being sued here in California for fraud at Placentia-Linda Hospital.

We urge all residents of Riverside County and Southern California to sign this petition urging hospital ownership at Corona and Temecula to vote against Envision and tell them that quality health care is more important than their profits.
