Australians can't even afford to be poor and the big banks are cashing in on it. They made a record breaking $27 BILLION in 12/13:- Commonwealth Bank: $7.8b, up 10% from 2011/12 Westpac: $7.1b, up 8% ANZ: $6.5b, up 11% NAB no longer charges overdraw fees and all banks should follow suit. Commonwealth bank charges $10 every time you overdraw. ANZ have a $40 dishonor fee and $27 overdraw fee. And the worst of all is Westpac that charge $9 A DAY that you are over drawn! That can really add up before you get paid again. Why should anyone have to pay overdraw fees?
