Subject: Request for Reservation of Seats for Male Passengers in BMTC Buses

Respected Sir/Madam,

I would like to bring to your kind attention the need for equitable seating arrangements in BMTC buses. While it is commendable that seats are reserved for women, senior citizens, and differently-abled passengers to ensure their safety and comfort, there is currently no designated seating provision for male passengers.

In peak hours, many male commuters, including daily wage workers, students, and office-goers, are often compelled to stand for long durations, leading to physical strain and inconvenience. Considering the increasing passenger load and long travel distances within the city, it would be beneficial to introduce a certain percentage of seats reserved for men as well, ensuring a balanced and fair distribution of seating facilities.

This initiative would promote equality, improve commuting comfort, and enhance the overall public transport experience for all passengers.

I kindly request the concerned authorities to consider this matter and take necessary steps to implement a more inclusive seating policy.

Thanking you.

Yours faithfully,
