My name is Jacquelyn Kent and I'm currently on Fox News 46 in Mecklenburg County, NC. I am creating this Petition as a way to rescue my PRECIOUS, three-year-old, Special Needs son, Roman (Romy for short) from his unfit father's home and custody. He has suffered tremendously and is absolutely traumatized from the abuse, neglect and drug exposure while in his father's care over the past five months. He has been burned on a fire pit, nearly drowned and exposed to high levels of Marijuana on a Child Guard Hair Follicle Drug Test. His father has consistently failed every drug test whether court-ordered, personally or by DSS. He has been in two rehabilitation centers, has been terminated from 12+ employment positions in three years, is a severe drug/alcohol addict, has committed domestic violence, is mentally ill, has had a 50B DVPO against him, has a criminal record and continues to commit crimes. Yet I have served more jail time than he has just for protecting my son from him. This Petition is also to save ALL children and good, fit, protective parents, their families, the community and the Nation from the Corruption and Collusion of Family Court that is punishing children and parents each day around the Country. Innocent children are being abused, injured, neglected and become deceased due to the atrocities performed by the "system" of Family Court including DSS, Judges, Attorneys, GAL's, Evaluators, Psychologists, etc. Roman cries nearly every time I see him on video chats and begs me to rescue him and not return him to daddy's house again. He even stated that he never wants to see or go back to daddy's house to a Social Worker. His tiny body is now full of Marijuana and DSS still has not removed him from his father's care, quoting that, "As long as one responsible adult resides in the home, it doesn't matter if the father is under the influence." This has to end. Family Court does nothing but harm families and cause irreparable, life-long damage. I've been incarcerated twice, threatened, abused, harassed, defamed and ultimately had my son taken away for ensuring his safety. Please sign this Petition to abolish the Family Court System and enact new laws and reform to this Judicial arena. This will save thousands of lives from all types of abuse.
