I walk down the streets and see a sight that breaks my heart - animals tied to poles or fences, shivering in the snow, with no food or water. This is not an isolated incident but a widespread issue of neglect that needs immediate attention. Every year, thousands of animals suffer due to human negligence. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), nearly 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S animal shelters nationwide every year (ASPCA). These numbers are staggering and demonstrate a dire need for change.

We must act now to save these innocent lives from further suffering. We call on local governments and animal welfare organizations to enforce stricter laws against animal neglect and establish more comprehensive rescue operations for these defenseless creatures.
