This petition is for Columbus City Schools District to refrain from cancelling the senior commencement ceremonies. Graduations should be postponed to a later date or altered for safety, not cancelled. Seniors have been in school for 12+ years and deserve more than a “virtual graduation”. The students feel as if the district is not properly evaluating all of the options such as social distancing on football fields, drive-in ceremonies, and/or rescheduling for a later date. Students feel belittled and uncared about. Sign this petition to advocate for a in-person graduation.
