Final Push Needed! Petition Closing 30 April – Help Us Reach Wiltshire Council Before It's Too Late
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has signed the petition so far! Your support in standing up for fortnightly bin collections has been incredible. Together we've already gathered strong momentum showing that Wiltshire residents do not want three-weekly black bin collections.
Important update:
The petition will close on Wednesday 30 April so we can submit it on Thursday 1 May. This is our last chance to maximise the numbers before it lands on the council's desk.
We need one final big push!
Please share this petition far and wide with friends, family, neighbours, and local groups across Wiltshire. Every signature counts – let's show the council just how strongly residents feel about this.
Next steps – Let's keep the pressure on:
Contact your local Wiltshire Councillor
Find out who represents you here: https://cms.wiltshire.gov.uk/mgFindMember.aspx
Write to them today and make them aware of this petition, which has almost 4000 signatures and is still climbing fast. Personal messages have real impact!
Speak up in person at Full Council
Why not come along and have your say during the public participation section at the Full Wiltshire Council meeting on Tuesday 19 May?
10:30am County Hall, Trowbridge.
How to take part: Register at reception on the day. Public speakers are typically given a strict three minutes each to speak.
This is a crucial time – the council has listened to public pressure before, and they can do it again. Let's make sure our voices are heard loud and clear.
Thank you again for your amazing support. Share, sign, and speak up – together we can protect our fortnightly collections!
