The Issue
The unsettling connection between Lifetouch photography and the scandalous Epstein Files has come to light. In these newly released documents, the company's owner has been named, raising serious concerns about the integrity and safety when it comes to school photography services in our community. As a parent and community member in Wake County, I am deeply committed to safeguarding the well-being of our children.
Every day, parents trust schools and daycares with their most precious loved ones, expecting them to be in environments that prioritize their safety and security. The association of Lifetouch with an individual implicated in such disturbing activities shatters this trust and compels us to reevaluate who is allowed to access our children in any capacity. We owe it to our children to act swiftly and decisively against any entity with questionable ties, ensuring that our local institutions reflect our community's values.
The solution is clear: we must sever ties with Lifetouch and opt for a local photography company that upholds the highest standards of ethics and can be held accountable to our community. By doing this, not only do we deter potential threats but also bolster support for local businesses that share in our commitment to safety and integrity.
Not to mention, in this current economy paying Lifetouch prices is hard on many families. Every parent, grandparent, uncles or aunt should be able to receive an affordable school picture of their loved one.
Wake County, it is time to stand united and demand action from our school boards and daycare administrations. Insist that they act in the best interest of our children by sourcing photography services from trustworthy, local providers. Together we can create a safer environment for our young ones.
Sign this petition today to send a clear message: the safety of our children is non-negotiable, and the community will hold its institutions accountable for ensuring it.
