Many of us, just like my friends, family, and I, often start our day before 10 or 11 in the morning. We consider shopping at Ulta Beauty a part of our morning routine, whether it be for essential beauty products or to get ready for important meetings or events. However, unfortunately, we are often unable to do so because the stores do not open until 10 AM. This means we either have to rush, making us late for our commitments, or we end up not going to Ulta at all – which is truly disappointing for all beauty enthusiasts.

According to a National Retail Federation survey, among the 71% of consumers who are early birds, at least 5% prefer doing shopping first thing in the morning (source: National Retail Federation). By continuing to open at 10 AM, Ulta is failing to cater to a sizable segment of their customer base which could significantly impact their brand loyalty and revenue in the long run.

Ulta prides itself in being the largest beauty retailer in the U.S and the premier beauty destination for cosmetics, fragrance, skincare products, hair care products and salon services. As such, it is vital that they sufficiently meet the needs of all their customers, regardless of their routine. Therefore, we are asking that Ulta Beauty adjust their opening hours to 8 AM to accommodate for us early birds.
