The Issue

The situation was handled poorly, resulting in Treyarch canceling Carry Forward plans for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. This abrupt decision did not solve players' issues with skins and weapon blueprints, leaving many fans frustrated and disheartened. Better options should have been evaluated, such as a partial Carry Forward, allowing only operators and weapons, without skins and blueprints, to move forward. Additionally, introducing a default skin or mil-sim toggle could have provided a satisfactory compromise for the fan base.

As dedicated players of Call of Duty, we invest significant amounts of time and money into the game. Our commitment and investment should be recognized and respected by providing continuity across new game releases. The cancellation of the Carry Forward plan undermines our investment and loyalty, and it lacks a reasonable justification that was communicated to the gaming community.

Treyarch has an opportunity to rectify this situation by reinstating Carry Forward plans in a manner that addresses both player concerns and development feasibility. The loyalty and satisfaction of your player base are invaluable, and acknowledging this by considering flexible, player-oriented solutions will prove beneficial for all involved.

The gaming community desires transparency and inclusivity in decisions that significantly impact player experience. We ask Treyarch to reconsider their stance on Carry Forward for Black Ops 7 and engage with the community to explore viable solutions that honor player investments and enhance overall satisfaction.

Please join us in advocating for these changes and ensuring that our voices are heard. Sign this petition to encourage Treyarch to bring back the Carry Forward plans for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
