The Issue

A traveling exhibit of three million pages of records tied to Jeffrey Epstein arrived in Dallas this week, and it has put a hard question in front of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton: will he stand with survivors, or keep looking away?

Survivors of Epstein's abuse have asked to meet with Paxton. So far, he hasn't responded. Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) still hasn't released the full Epstein files to the public, leaving survivors and everyday Texans in the dark about who else was involved and how much accountability has actually happened.

"When did Ken Paxton decide it was okay to ignore these survivors?" asked Texas State Representative James Talarico, according to CBS Texas. He's called on Paxton "to use his power as attorney general to sue the DOJ over the mishandling of these Epstein files."

This isn't about politics. It's about whether survivors of one of the most notorious abuse cases in modern history get the basic respect of a meeting, and whether the public ever gets the full truth these records are supposed to provide.

As Texas's top law enforcement officer, Paxton has the authority to demand accountability. He should use it: meet with the survivors who have asked to speak with him, and use his office's legal power to push the DOJ to release the complete, unredacted Epstein files.

Survivors have waited long enough. Sign the petition to demand Attorney General Ken Paxton meet with Epstein survivors and sue the DOJ for full transparency now.
