Require protective gear for service Animals at Music Venues
Why this petition matters

All sorts of events are loud, but music events are specifically designed to be LOUD. This puts service animals at risk of health issues such as hearing loss.
We want to support inclusion AND animal safety by requiring service animals to have protective gear (such as ear muffs) when supporting their human in these situations. Telling people with disabilities to "just stay home" is not OK.
According to the ADA FAQ on service animals:
"The Department of Justice continues to receive many questions about how the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) applies to service animals. The ADA requires State and local government agencies, businesses, and non-profit organizations (covered entities) that provide goods or services to the public to make "reasonable modifications" in their policies, practices, or procedures when necessary to accommodate people with disabilities. Venues requesting people supply their pets own protective gear; and/or offering to provide gear (for sale / on loan / etc) so these animals can be safe and perform their task, seems reasonable. This information would be provided on their websites and ticket emails just like dress code and other important venue/event specific information.
Let's spread awareness and support EVERYONE in being able to enjoy good music together!
