Thank you to everyone who has signed and shared this petition so far. Your support is helping ensure that local concerns are being raised early and constructively.

At this stage, it’s important to clarify where we are in the process.

The proposals for around 190 homes behind The Greystoke pub / south of North Ealing station are currently at a developer-led public consultation stage, not a formal planning application.

You can view the developer’s consultation material here:

What this means

  1. There is no planning application yet for Ealing Council to decide on
  2. Residents cannot yet submit formal planning objections to the Council
  3. This is the period where evidence should be tested before an application is submitted

Public exhibition
The developer is holding a public exhibition:

This Thursday 29 January
3–7pm
The Tom Entwistle Room, Ealing Cricket Club
Corfton Road, London W5 2HS

This is an opportunity to ask direct questions about:

  1. GP and healthcare capacity
  2. School places
  3. Traffic, access and safety (including the slip road and station routes)
  4. Building height and scale
  5. Construction and servicing impacts

If and when a planning application is submitted to Ealing Council:

  1. Every resident will be able to submit an individual formal comment
  2. These individual submissions carry significant weight in planning decisions
  3. I will share clear step-by-step guidance at that point so supporters know exactly what to do

How you can help right now

  • Attend the exhibition if you can, or ask for written answers to key questions
  • Encourage neighbours to sign the petition so we can demonstrate community interest
  • Stay ready — once the application goes live, early and informed responses matter
  • This petition is calling for proper GP, school and access impact studies before approval, not for or against development in principle. That is a reasonable and responsible request, and it’s being raised at the right time.

Thank you again for staying engaged.
