We demand that dating platforms implement safeguards to protect users, including:

1. A verification system that requires dating apps to check if a user has a known history of domestic abuse or restraining orders.

2. Collaboration with law enforcement to allow safer dating experiences by flagging high-risk individuals.

3. Transparency in user safety policies, ensuring people can make informed choices about their matches.

Survivors of abuse should not have to rely on luck to avoid dangerous individuals. It’s time for dating platforms to prioritize safety over profits.
