I want our kids to be able to hang out without the looming fear of catching covid and having potential lifelong health problems arise from that. I want to hear schools full of kids laughing and seeing their smiles. I don't want to worry every time someone sneezes without a mask. Having our children vaccinated protects them and those who can't for medical reasons, just like every other childhood vaccine. The covid vaccine should be no different. We get peace of mind by requiring this vaccine as part of our school requirements. 

It is our responsibility to ensure that our schools are safe, and our students and staff are healthy. Just like other required childhood vaccines, the covid vaccine helps protect individuals as well as the rest of the population. Adding this vaccine as a requirement will help reduce the disproportionate effects of the COVID pandemic on the physical and mental health, academic growth of every student.
