I frequently visit the Broken Hill venue to obtain new hearing aid batteries or to get quick fixes, and these tasks don't require an audiologist's attention. They're efficiently handled by the trained staff on-site. The proposed new system will mandate calling the Modsbury branch to make an appointment with an audiologist even for minor technical repairs. This extra step could lead to unnecessary delays and added stress for clients who rely on timely support.

Broken Hill, being a remote area, deserves the same level of service and accessibility as urban centers. Having to schedule appointments for every minor issue creates an inconvenient barrier to maintaining ear health. Our branch has served us well, and its operational structure should remain to continue providing this essential service to our community.
