On Friday, June 2, 2023, we dropped off our strong & healthy 3 year old Cane Corso Rocco for boarding at a familiar pet resort only to get a call less than 24 hours later telling us that he was found unresponsive in his room in the morning.  They have no answers as to what happened because they put him in the room & 5:30 pm & left for the night! There was noone there for more than 12 hours to check on any of the dogs. This is very unsafe! 

We are pushing to get Rocco's Law put in effect that would require boarding facilities & kennels to have 24 hour indoor video surveillance of private rooms, kennels & all play areas as well as an employee on site 24 hours. 

We want to be sure our loved ones are being cared for & monitored 24 hours. We trust these facilities with our pets because they are a part of our family. A change is needed.
