The Issue

TUI Airlines just did something remarkable: it banned the transport of hunting trophies across its entire fleet, no matter whether the hunt was technically legal. That makes TUI the latest name on a growing list — 52 transportation companies across 26 countries now restrict shipping wildlife trophies, and nearly 80% of them have gone all the way to a full ban.

That's real progress. But it's still voluntary, company by company — which means plenty of airlines and shipping providers haven't made the same call yet, and hunters can simply route their trophies through whichever carrier hasn't caught up.

According to Humane World for Animals, "these policies also send a powerful message that wild animals are living, sentient beings deserving of protection, rather than commodities." Every carrier that keeps trophy cargo on the table is sending the opposite message.

This petition calls on the International Air Transport Association and every major airline and cargo carrier still without a policy to follow TUI's lead and permanently ban the transport of hunting trophies — lions, elephants, giraffes, and every other animal killed for a wall mount, not a windshield sticker.

Wildlife shouldn't depend on which airline a hunter happens to book. Sign the petition to demand a universal ban on trophy transport — before another airline becomes the easy workaround.
