There are still communities of White Knight Chronicles players that would like nothing more than to be able to keep playing this wonderful game series.

Whilst some of us have transferred over to other MMORPG games such as Final Fantasy XIV, personally speaking it has not quite been the same experience regarding the community aspect and 'feel' that we once had playing *online* with WKC.

Since the GeoNet servers shut down on 18th June 2013, the copies of WKC & WKC II have felt to be made redundant. 

Along with this, NA/EU players never got the opportunity to get the complete "Avatar Story", other additional DLC, patches, updates or any new content to the game released to them that was supported in the Japan versions - not even in the final months leading up to the online play's demise.

What makes this even worse is that it was already existing on the discs itself - which I personally pre-ordered for day one purchase & paid FULL RRP for!

White Knight Chronicles II was one of my favourite games for the PS3, both in terms of the game play, improvements to the WKC mechanics and the great multiplayer and online community.  Even until now, I haven't come across any other game which has been able to compete with the fun factor of the online play.

My suggestion (& hope) is that a new White Knight Chronicles continuation game is or will eventually be in development that will not only help rectify these issues but also bring back the loyal supporters and communities that felt abandoned after being let down by the cancellation of the online service & lack of content.

“White Knight Chronicles III” could be released for PS4 (and PC) that incorporates not only a new story & enhanced gameplay but also the leftover content from the previous games which I feel will satisfy the fan base in addition to bringing new players to the series.

Even if players would have to pay a monthly subscription (in the same fashion of FF XIV), I am sure there would be a lot of satisfied people who would be willing to do so on the grounds that the game was well maintained & updated in a regular fashion - even though the free to play aspect was one of the reasons I was initially drawn to the series.

** WKC for PS4 ** - Make it happen!
