Four of us who are asking Prairie City SVRA to expand the MX Practice Track attended their August public input meeting.  There were only a total of 6 public present so the staff definitely heard us.  The Prairie City park supt and regional park supt were supportive of expanding the MX Track.  Unfortunately, the park supts insist that the Road and Trail Mgt (land use) Plan update is required to expand the MX Track.  The RTMP update is expected to take at least 18 months.  Then actual physical changes can be implemented.  We will stay on park mgt regarding the MX Track expansion and trying anyway to make change happen faster.  Please consider writing an email to trails@parks.ca.gov requesting the MX Practice Track expansion.
