During the past 12 months the population of commercial service vehicles parked on Spring Branch Boulevard, between Waterway Drive and Holleyside Drive has multiplied. Now commercial vehicles are also being parked along the area beyond Holleyside Drive and Spring Branch Boulevard as well. In fact, the street site once was a beautiful attraction of single-family homes has become an unsightly eyesore of commercial vehicles parked in our neighborhood. The street was primarily used during the day by residents to park their vehicles to catch commuter buses to Washington, DC. Previously, at night there were no vehicles parked there, unless it was a rare occurrence.  We (residents of Montclair) are petitioning VDOT for assistance to have the street(s) along Spring Branch Boulevard and adjacent streets (Holleyside Drive, Rincon Place, Woodglen Court, Tallowwood Drive, Sugarbush Lane, and Willow Oak Place the neighborhood (community) designated as no parking zones as well for abandoned and commercial vehicles. We ask that street signs be placed in each area to effect this change. These measures will help  to return our community back to its intended use and beatification.
