Subject: Request to allow office commuter traveler vehicles on the Maa/AJC bose Flyover for New Town-bound professionals

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to you on behalf of a large community of daily office commuters residing in Santragachi, Tikiapara, and Behala who travel every morning to major IT and business hubs in New Town (including DLF 2, Candor TechSpace, Eco Space, and Gitanjali Park etc.).

Currently, office shuttle services and traveler-category vehicles (such as Cityflo, Hexa, and similar aggregators) are not permitted to use the Maa Flyover. This restriction is causing severe distress to thousands of working professionals. Without access to the flyover, our daily one-way commute stretches to nearly 2.5 hours or more, making it exceptionally grueling and exhausting to sustain on a daily basis.

While the traffic police occasionally permit these vehicles onto the flyover, these instances are extremely rare and unpredictable, leaving commuters without any reliable schedule.

Allowing these shared commuter vehicles onto the Maa Flyover would drastically reduce travel times, ensuring that hundreds of office personnel can reach their workplaces on time. Given the government's focus on reducing individual car usage and promoting shared mobility to ease traffic congestion, permitting these organized office shuttles on the flyover aligns perfectly with efficient urban transit.

We earnestly request your kind intervention in this matter to grant formal permission for office traveler-category vehicles to access the Maa Flyover. Your support will bring immense relief to the working community.
