Request the NSW Department of Housing to Relocate Jennifer

The issue

My family, like many others in our community, live under a ceaseless threat and terror due to the unruly and dangerous activities of one resident - Jennifer. Our once peaceful and safe environment has transformed into a zone of fear, making it unsafe for our children to enjoy their childhood outdoors. The profanity and threats that Jennifer screams at all hours disturb the tranquility of our neighbourhood. She is often heard causing physical damage to her property, creating an environment that is not conducive to the growth and mental well-being of our children.

What aggravates the issue is that Jennifer's dangerous activities are not just limited to verbal abuse. She has been spotted on her veranda, smoking suspicious substances and even brandishing a knife. This puts the safety of everyone, especially the vulnerable children in our community, in acute danger.

Exposure to such violence at a young age can have long-lasting effects on a child's mental health, potentially leading to stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues. Also, the National Institute on Drug Abuse suggests that exposure to drug use can increase the likelihood of a child engaging in such behaviour later in their life.

It is clear that the current situation is untenable, harmful, and potentially life-altering for our children. Therefore, we are pleading with Department of Housing authorities to take quick and urgent action by relocating Jennifer from wyoming to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents, particularly our children. Act now, before it's too late. Sign the petition.
