As the popularity of West Derby Village is increasing, I have noticed difficulties for those residents without off road parking to park their vehicles outside or even near their homes. From increased visitors to the village bars/restaurants and the CornerStone Centre on Eaton Road North itself; I feel it necessary to create a petition in order to request resident permits. This will hopefully reduce the number of vehicles overall, therefore increasing safety for children/disabled residents living on the road and stop cars attempting to park alongside the wall running along the road when no spaces are available next to the pavement.
