Good Afternoon All, 

I want to thank everyone for the engagement on Thursday's 6pm call - Its great you showed up to voice your opinions. It is important that we continue to do so in preparation for Monday, April 28th Board Meeting. If you cannot attend the meeting, please take a moment to send a note to the HOA Board using the "Contact the Board" section of the Hampton Lakes website in preparation for Monday's Meeting - that they can see there is adequate appetite for a change and consider this during voting in the meeting. They want to hear from you directly, as they have dismissed the notion of this very petition and social media conversation. Let your voice be heard. 

Express that you do not support the proposed enforcement of 24/7 Parking in our neighborhood, and insist that the Polk County Sheriff is more than capable of enforcing parking issues as they pop up in our neighborhood - being the blocking of the roadway, blocking of your mailbox, or intersection. These parking codes exist within the Polk County Code, and if you have a problem, you have every right to contact the County for enforcement in the form of a ticket or towing, as these roads are PUBLIC, County owned and maintained - NOT by the Association. Work with the county to come up with adequate solutions, and do not make this an unreasonable wide sweeping decree. 

Secondary to this, we hope that you can attend the board meeting and express your concern with this issue during the open forum portion of the meeting. We hope that there will be a motion to delay the enforcement until a reasonable agreement on the regulation can be reached, as 24/7 NO Street Parking is just absolutely unreasonable.
