My sister has celiac disease, which means she can’t eat foods with gluten. Because of that, finding fun and tasty snacks she can actually enjoy has become a major challenge. Goldfish Puffs were a snack many people loved, but after the product's discontinuation, there hasn't been a gluten-free goldfish product that families like ours could share.

We know we’re not alone. According to Beyond Celiac, about 1 in 100 people worldwide have celiac disease. In the U.S. alone, around 3 million people are affected, and many haven’t even been diagnosed yet. With so many families searching for better gluten-free choices, the need for snacks like Goldfish Puffs has never been greater. 

Pepperidge Farm is a company known for quality and for making foods people love. We know that goldfish Puffs were phased out because they could not compete against other snacks. However, the fact that Pepperidge Farm did not try to make a better version afterwards left people who cannot or do not eat gluten disheartened.  That’s why we believe they could make a big difference by bringing back Goldfish Puffs or introducing a gluten-free version of one of America's favorite snacks. This wouldn’t just expand options for people with celiac disease or gluten sensitivities—it would also show that Pepperidge Farm values inclusivity and cares about all of its customers.
