Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2018) is a unique iteration to the TMNT franchise. It changed up a lot, which upset original fans, but it resonated with a large amount of people who saw it for its distinctive vision and character exploration, as well as giving each of the turtles unique designs to better distinguish them by their different species.

The show was picked up for two seasons as it aired, but suddenly the second season's episode batch got shortened and they had to condense the story, ending the show (2020) in a fantastic way, but still leaving room for more for the fans. In 2022, Netflix released a feature film sequel to the series, which explored the characters one last time while introducing more to the world of the turtles, and giving the fans one more outing with this iteration. This movie was well received by the fans, which many saw as a great way to (sadly) close the series, with many praising the visuals, the character development, and lastly, the soundtrack. However, the soundtrack, produced by series music composer, Matt Mahaffey, has gone unreleased to this day, and frankly I see that as a shame.

The reason I bring this petition up now, nearly a full year after the film's release, is because as of June 16th 2023, another Netflix film, Hilda and the Mountain King had an official soundtrack release through digital platforms, and if Hilda can have a soundtrack release, why can't the Rise of the TMNT movie as well?

There is a great number of fans out in the world who would love to get their hands (and phones) on the soundtrack for the film, as Matt Mahaffey's unique music taste for the series and film resonate with the fans and help bring a distinct feel to the series. So help us get this message out to Netflix and Nickelodeon! WE WANT THIS SOUNDTRACK RELEASE!!!
