Update on GED (Thanawiya Amma) Petition Submission

In less than 48 hours, 83 parents and guardians have signed this petition requesting that The Sultan’s School introduce a GED (Thanawiya Amma) track starting in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Today, I formally submitted the petition (with the current list of signatories) to the Principal, Mr. Nigel, and Deputy Principal, Ms. Hind. The petition remains open, and we expect more signatures in the coming days.

Thank you for your support — together, we are making our voices heard. Please continue to share this petition with other parents and alumni so we can strengthen our collective call for change.

Update: I have since received a call from Ms. Hind, who confirmed that this matter will be discussed tomorrow during the Education Committee meeting. She also shared that the school is supportive of the initiative, and we will see what comes out of the discussion.

This is a very encouraging step, made possible thanks to your collective support. The petition remains open, and more signatures are welcome — please continue to share it so we can strengthen our voice even further.
