We, the concerned members of the Brawley Little League community, are urgently asking for a special meeting to address serious issues with the behavior of board member Bobby Fierro and the overall accountability of the board.

At the meeting on May 7, 2024, community members raised concerns about Mr. Fierro's inappropriate behavior during the May 2, 2024 meeting. Mr. Fierro was on the phone and started yelling, cussing, and making false accusations against another board member, Brent Ashurts. This behavior is unacceptable and goes against the standards expected of board members.

Despite our requests for the board to take action, nearly three weeks have passed with no response. This lack of action is very concerning and shows a disregard for the community's concerns and the board’s own rules.

This is not the first time Mr. Fierro has acted out of line. He even joked about it by saying, “well, it’s the first time it’s been documented, so it will be a warning right? Since everyone else just gets a warning.” This shows a pattern of bad behavior and a lack of respect for the board's rules.

Additionally, the board has failed to follow through on previous promises. For example, during a meeting on March 27, 2024, it was noted that there would be a follow-up meeting to discuss issues with two major teams. This follow-up meeting has not happened, which shows the board's ongoing neglect.

Given these serious concerns, we, the undersigned community members, demand a special meeting to address Mr. Fierro's behavior and the board’s failure to follow up on important issues. It is essential for the trust and integrity of Brawley Little League that the board acts quickly and openly to fix these problems.

We urge the Brawley Little League Board of Directors to take immediate action and schedule a special meeting to address these urgent issues. Our community deserves leaders who are accountable and act with integrity.
