The Issue

We are formally petitioning the county to DENY proposed Project No. 202-603-0052, AR No. 6415, to build a 190’ telecommunications tower dangerously close to our residences.  This tower is planned to be built within approximately 300 feet of our homes, and within sight of many other homes in the Hunter’s Ridge community and along Airport Rd.

Studies have shown that proximity to cell towers can drastically lower property values.  For families who have invested their life savings in their homes, this is a significant financial burden, one that could be avoided by selecting an alternate location further away from residential areas.

Our homes are more than just buildings; they are the foundation of our families, our dreams, and our future. The placement of this tower threatens the peace and aesthetic of our neighborhood, not to mention the market value of our significant investments in our property.

We call upon the Flagler County Planning & Development officials to strongly consider the negative impact of Project No. 202-603-0052 and deny its approval. We urge them to consider alternative sites that would minimize impact on residential communities.

Please help us preserve the integrity and value of our community. Your support can make all the difference. Please sign the petition and if you are able, attend the Public Hearing scheduled on June 9th at 6pm at the Planning and Development Board meeting in Flagler County.
