Petition to Request A Full (Through and Impartial) Investigation by Kansas City Missouri Public School District (KCPS) and Jackson County, Missouri into the Wrongful Termination of Foreign Language Academy’s (FLA) Family and Community Engagement Liaison Lucas Orozco On Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Lucas Orozco was placed on administrative leave pending a “thorough and impartial investigation” into an accusation of sexual misconduct. For clarity, the woman that accused Lucas: has filed many false allegations of other employees, is a known racist, a compulsive liar, and infatuated with obtaining citizenship. Lucas Orozco is a native Kansas Citian from the Westside community. He is a product of the education system of Kansas City Missouri Public schools. In the fifth grade Lucas met his future wife, Sarah Orozco. They started dating in the eighth grade, got engaged in the hallways of Lincoln College Prep their senior year (2008), and were married the following year 2009. From their marriage have come three beautiful children that all attend FLA, the place their parents fell in love at.  Lucas and Sarah both knew that their children would go to KCPS schools, and had their hearts set on FLA especially. They were living their dream. Lucas and Sarah celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary this past October with a celebration and invited a few of the KCPS employees as well as friends and family. On March 16, 2025 the claimant physically assaulted Lucas Orozco, leaving two bruises. One of the bruises was so intense it left hyperpigmentation that if it ever heals, will take months to years to heal. The investigation conducted by KCPS only included interviews of KCPS employees although the events occurred off KCPS district property. Many people are willing to corroborate Lucas’ story as factual, and are available upon request. Lucas Orozco has no history of being accused of sexual misconduct or any crime, for that matter. The Orozco Family have served in advocating for the community at Foreign Language Academy and throughout Kansas City. Not only are they active parents in the parent organization, they have helped to connect the disconnected Spanish community at FLA to resources that are needed and kept them apprised of all the ongoings at the school as KCPS continues to fail at communication with the Spanish community. They have even organized the undocumented families in supportive ways such as know your rights presentations, assisting with preparing family plans, and emotional support. Advocacy for the right thing is all the Orozco family has and will continue to do, regardless of their employment in or out of KCPS. This matter was strictly personal in nature. However, the claimant’s actions clearly showed an intent to harm Lucas’s professional reputation and livelihood. If the allegations would had been legitimate or posed any threat, it would have been reasonable to expect her to contact law enforcement or pursue formal charges, which she did not wish to do. It would be policy for KCPS to report the crime to Morgan County where the alleged crime occurred. Her failure and KCPS’ to do so raises questions about the credibility of her claims and termination by KCPS. This, along with the impact on Lucas’s rapport within the school and district, shows that her motivations were not rooted in concern for safety, but rather in a desire to damage his career and reputation. It shows the district is willing to retaliate against anyone who does not fall in line with their ideologies and questions them at every level. We kindly request that if you know Lucas or believe in justice to sign this petition. The investigation did not include interviews of all present at either event, although they were willing. Along with multiple KCPS policy violations. KCPS cherry picked which parts of policies they would implement and which they would not. Throughout the investigation the Orozco parents have continued to advocate and work to protect their children who were sexually harassed by the claimant when she threatened to discuss her false sexual allegations with their five-year-old son and nine-year-old daughter. The whole Foreign Language Academy community devastated along with the Orozco Family. Please continue to shower them in prayers and words of encouragement, as well as signatures to show KCPS and Jackson County the importance Lucas Orozco has in the community. We are honest people with nothing to hide and open to answering all questions and providing all evidence we have.
