In our beloved community of Perry, Oklahoma, we face a troubling situation. Our city's financial management, which should be a pillar of trust and efficiency, has instead become a source of growing concern for many of us. It feels as if a few unseen parasites have infiltrated what should be a thriving economic ecosystem, siphoning off resources that are intended to support us during difficult economic times.

This audit should encompass both state and federal funds, as well as an evaluation of internal controls and expenditure oversight by the city's trustees.
