Merthyr were reprieved to step 3 over Leatherhead after Walton Casuals folded despite having lower Points per game. In November the Fa changed step 3 rulings to reprievals for 4 teams across step 3 rather than 3 teams being relegated from each league. Unfairly Leatherhead were not offered the reprieval and Merthyr were put back to step 3 despite being relegated with no chance of a reprieval. Leatherheads manager Luke Tuffs has openly said the club were preparing in case they were put into the Southern league. Leatherhead need to be reprieved after Merthyr were unfairly reprieved over them.
