Many fans of Red Hot Chili Peppers are also aware of its members’ solo work. The most notable example being “Shadows Collide With People”, by guitarist John Frusciante. Arguably his most well known album, Shadows is widely considered his magnum opus, a masterclass in song design and execution. Sadly, the 65 minutes of sonic bliss that are this album have only been officially released on vinyl once, in 2004. This means that obtaining a vinyl record of the album can cost upwards of $500. The plan is simple. Warner Records (a subsidiary of Warner Music Group) owns the rights to the album. We must convince them that enough people want a repress to make the endeavor a profitable one. With enough people involved, we can make it happen!
