The State of Emergency declared by the Portuguese government has resulted in unexpected consequences. It created a serious economic disaster. The number of people that lost their sources of income, their livelihood is increasing daily and is affecting the most vulnerable people across our country – these are people with the least resources at their disposal and are people in desperate need of HELP right now and for the foreseable future!

If you are in the Algarve, get in touch with us if you or anyone near you needs assistance- download the form that we need you to complete in English and Portuguese and send it back to us via email please so that we can assist.

- Donate any of the items that we need for our PACKS (We can collect or you can drop it at our shop in Lagos) - info in the Action Plan.
- Donate MONEY to enable us to purchase the items we need to make up the packs
- Volunteer in your area (if you fall outside the groups in risk)

We will advertise your business on our website for free during the period of the state of emergency. Our website gets typically more than 100 000 hits every day. Your business will benefit from the awareness campaigns that we run via Facebook and via email
If you are an individual
Our way of thanking you is by giving you a BOOK that you can read at your leisure. We will post it to you to your home address. Books are randomly selected, as we don’t have a complete index of all our books. You can select English, German, Dutch and we have a few in Portuguese too. Email us proof of your donation and a delivery address so that we can post it to you.
