The Issue

I am a regular commuter who relies on the current ferry service. Unfortunately, the service is often unreliable, frequently disrupting my plans and those of many others. Moreover, the excessive fares required to use this service only add to the daily burden of local commuters like myself.

Even more concerning is the environmental aspect. Ferry services typically emit greater levels of CO2 per passenger kilometer compared to other modes of transport such as bridges (Source: European Environment Agency). By transitioning to toll bridges, we can reduce our carbon footprint and contribute towards a cleaner, healthier environment.

Taking these points into account, I urge the relevant authorities to replace the current ferry service with a system of toll bridges. This change will ensure a more reliable, cost-effective means of transportation not just for me, but for all commuters who suffer due to the current system. At the same time, it will reduce environmental harm, which benefits everyone.

This is not just a plea for a less stressful commute, but for a necessary upgrade in infrastructure that considers environmental impact and cost-effectiveness. Sign this petition if you believe in reliable and green transportation options.
