As concerned members of the Tifton community, we are deeply troubled by the lack of progress and consecutive losses experienced under the leadership of Tift County High School's Head Football Coach, Noel Dean. We believe that a change in coaching staff is necessary for the upcoming 2024-2025 football season to rebuild our team and restore our community's pride.

Our personal story begins with witnessing our children, students, and staff suffer from this great loss at an alarming and rapid rate. The impact of these continuous defeats goes beyond just a game; it affects the morale and spirit of our entire community. Our once proud football program has been on a downward spiral under Coach Dean's guidance, leaving us feeling disheartened and demoralized.

To support our concerns, we present relevant facts that highlight the need for change:

1. Lack of Rebuilding: Despite having ample time to rebuild the team since being appointed as head coach in 2021, there has been little improvement in performance or results. The team continues to struggle both on offense and defense.

2. Consecutive Losses: Over the past three seasons (2020-2023), Tift County High School has suffered an unprecedented number of consecutive losses under Coach Dean's leadership. This pattern indicates a failure to adapt strategies or effectively motivate players.

3. Declining Community Support: Attendance at games has significantly decreased as disillusionment grows within our community due to consistent disappointment on the field.

We acknowledge that making changes within any organization can be challenging but maintaining status quo will only lead to further decline in performance and community support. It is imperative that we take action now before irreparable damage is done.

We call upon school administrators, athletic directors, school board members, parents/guardians, students past/present/future athletes alike - anyone who shares our concern - to join us in demanding the immediate replacement of Coach Noel Dean. Our community deserves a coach who can inspire, motivate, and lead our team, our youth, our future to success both on and off the field.
